I Fired Myself...Introducing our New CEO

You know what the best race in Track & Field is? No, it's not the 800 meters.

It is the Distance Medley Relay!

Think about it: four people with completely different training, skill sets, and expertise coming together to get that little baton around the track as fast as possible. You have a 400-meter sprinter on the same team as a miler! It just doesn't get any better than that.

And when I ran the DMR, I was almost always the lead-off leg, 1200 meters. It's not that I love the 1200m distance especially; it's just that I loved being the first leg! I could do my job, hand the baton off while in first place, and then sit back and cheer my team on.

I feel the same way about business. I am a Founder. The gun goes off, and I go fast. But there comes a time when it makes sense to hand the baton off to the next specialist. For Run Gum, that day is today.

I am pleased to announce that we now have a new CEO here at Run Gum. After a nationwide search, we found the next leg of this relay team, Louis Kanganis.

Louis comes to us with decades of experience, and we are thrilled to have him on our team. His training and skill set make him the perfect person to lead Run Gum at this time.

I am proud of what I was able to accomplish as Run Gum's CEO, but even more excited about what I will be able to do for the company in a more traditional founder role!

You'll be seeing a lot more of me on YouTube and TikTok, emails, and they're even going to let me keep wearing my Run Gum trucker hat!! :D

All jokes aside, it is an honor to be part of this company. Please join me in wishing Louis a heartfelt WELCOME TO RUN GUM!
