After nearly three years running, we have now grown our team to 10 members. We feel the need to introduce ourselves. Over the next couple of weeks, tune in to learn a little more about our team and how we run. First up, we have Emma Abrahamson.
Position at Run Gum: Public Relations Coordinator/Intern
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am 20 years old, from Carlsbad, California and I am going to be a senior at the University of Oregon. I am currently studying business with a concentration in sports management. I run both cross country and track and field for the Ducks.
If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Free-spirited, driven, and hungry.
What do you like best about working at Run Gum?
The environment. The positive atmosphere cultivated by the employees here is contagious and it makes me excited to work hard each time I step in the office.
What is your favorite pillar from #HowWeRun?
“Be a great training partner.” Since I have been competing on a team at each stage in my life, working with others is one of the highlights of my day. I thrive best when I can bounce ideas off of someone else and work with team members to achieve a common end goal.
Favorite flavor of Run Gum?
Cinnamon!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Running and school, but since I consider those my jobs as well, I try to find other things to do during my busy schedule! I am the biggest foodie around. I recently started a food Instagram (@onecrazedfoodie) which shares healthy, budget-friendly and simple recipes with my followers. I also started a YouTube channel, where I vlog about my life and running. Other than that, I like reading and watching movies, especially documentaries, with my friends.
Favorite artist or song at the moment.
The Weeknd, hands down. Party Monster.

Run Gum is so much more than an energy company. The employees here truly care about their consumers and bettering their lives in all ways possible. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to intern here this summer!
