"I NEVER FELT MORE ALIVE."
What was supposed to be a few day adventure followed by some relaxation in Bali, ended up being ten full days of many ups and downs. This mountain—this trip— tested me physically and emotionally like nothing I’ve ever experienced.
But at the end... I persevered and stood higher than ever before. My new altitude PR of 16,024ft above sea level on Indonesia's Tallest Peak
To be honest... I am not sure what drives me to the mountains.
As a goal oriented person I am certainly intrigue by the challenge of it, but there are hundreds of athletic challenges.
It boils down to a sense of adventure. Adventure Feeds My Soul.
There were a few times during this adventure where I asked my self, "Why in the world are you doing this?!" But when I wasn't feeling those thoughts of despair I was thinking...
